A Mexican spirit brand wanted to relaunch itself in the market as a distinct spirit category.  We first spoke to Mexican spirit drinkers to understand the positioning and perceptions of the competitive landscape.  Using that insight, we developed brand statements and took those into focus groups and on-line surveys to hone the story and the packaging.  Finally, we conducted a taste test to find the “sweet spot” on taste to make sure we had a great product going to market.

Our insight is that investing a moderate amount of dollars in research can have a big payoff in future earnings.
